Cookie Policy

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and loads no third-party scripts. Below is a complete inventory of the browser storage we do use, and why it exists.

1. Our position

We sell software to IT professionals, many of whom check what a vendor's website loads before they trust the vendor's product. So we keep it simple: this website uses only strictly necessary browser storage. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no remarketing tag, no session-recording tool, no chat widget, no social media embed, no web font loaded from a third party, and no content delivery network fetching scripts from another domain.

Because there is no non-essential storage, there is nothing to consent to and nothing to opt out of. The small notice at the bottom of the page exists to tell you that, and to record that you have seen it. We do not use a consent banner to obtain permission for tracking, because there is no tracking.

2. What we actually store

Complete inventory of client-side storage used by this website.
NameTypePurposeDurationParty
itsupport-rmm.notice.ack localStorage Records that you dismissed the storage notice so it is not shown again on every page Until you clear site data First party
itsupport-rmm.test localStorage (transient) Written and immediately deleted to detect whether storage is available in your browser, so the notice does not error in private browsing modes Milliseconds First party
Pricing estimator values In-page memory only Endpoint count, plan and billing term used by the calculator on the Pricing page. Not persisted and never transmitted. Until you leave the page First party

That is the full list for the marketing website. If you decline all storage by blocking it in your browser, every page still works; you will simply see the notice again on each visit.

3. The authenticated console

The ITSupport RMM platform console, which is a separate application available to customers, uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. It is marked Secure, HttpOnly where applicable, and SameSite, and it expires when your session ends or when the session timeout configured by your administrator is reached. The console does not include advertising or analytics trackers either.

4. Server logs are not cookies, but you should know about them

Our hosting infrastructure writes standard access logs containing IP address, timestamp, requested URL, status code, referrer and user-agent. These are retained for 90 days for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, and are not used to build profiles or to target advertising. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. How to control browser storage

You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Typical paths:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site settings
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data

Blocking storage for this website has no functional consequence beyond the notice reappearing. Blocking it for the console will prevent you from staying signed in, because the session cookie is strictly necessary.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honor these signals by default in the only way that is meaningful: we do not track visitors at all, on any page, whether or not a signal is present. There is no behavioral advertising or cross-context profiling to disable. If we ever introduce any non-essential storage, we will update this policy, publish it before the change takes effect, and implement a genuine consent mechanism with a working refuse option rather than a notice-only banner.

7. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date, and customers will be notified by email. The inventory table above will always reflect what the site actually sets; if you find a discrepancy, report it to Info@itsupport-rmm.com and we will correct the policy or remove the storage.
